New York High School Football - Brewster knocked off by Beacon

(October 7, 2006: Beacon, NY 12508) The Beacon Bulldogs football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting Brewster Bears to 17 in the Bulldogs league victory on Saturday.

With the victory, Beacon advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY) to play the Warriors in a Section 1 A - League A battle on Saturday, October 14. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Our Lady of Lourdes won 13-6 in their recent non-league battle against Peekskill (Peekskill, NY)

Next, the Bears play the Burke Catholic Eagles (Goshen, NY) in a non-league battle, on Friday, October 13. Brewster will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 28-8 non-league win over Sullivan West (Lake Huntington, NY).
