Hawaii High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon winner over Iolani

(December 21, 2007: Honolulu, HI 96826) In Friday's non-league outing, the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) basketball squad knocked off the host Iolani Raiders (Honolulu, HI), by a margin of 66-55.

The Knights (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Rice (New York, NY). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 4-0 record. In their last outing, Rice topped Mason County (Maysville, KY), 59-48, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mason County for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 22. Iolani will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 59-48 non-league loss to Rice (New York, NY). The Royals record now stands at 7-1.
