New York High School Basketball - Pelham Memorial falls to Valhalla

(February 4, 2008: Valhalla, NY 10595) The Valhalla Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting Pelham Memorial Pelicans to 44 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Monday.

The Vikings now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rye Neck for a Section 1 IV - B contest on Tuesday, February 5. Valhalla will meet a Panthers team coming off a 34-27 non-league loss to Hamilton (Elmsford, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-14.

The Pelicans (10-9) will now prepare for their contest against Rye (Rye, NY). The Garnets enter the Section 1 III - B contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Rye was defeated by Pearl River (Pearl River, NY), 47-43, in a non-league contest.
