New York High School Football - Peekskill crushed by Nyack

(September 8, 2006: Upper Nyack, NY 10960) The Nyack Indians walloped the visiting Peekskill Red Devils football squad by a final score of 45-0 in Friday's league challenge.

The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ossining for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 15. Nyack will clash with a Riverhawks squad coming off a 21-6 non-league win over Cornwall Central (New Windsor, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Peekskill moves to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red devils host Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY) to clash with the Tigers in a Section 1 A - League B challenge on Saturday, September 16. The Tigers go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Spring Valley lost 14-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Beacon (Beacon, NY)
