New York High School Basketball - Pleasantville winner over Suffern

(December 15, 2007: Suffern, NY 10901) The Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY) basketball knocked off the host Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY), 50-40 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Edgemont topped Valhalla (Valhalla, NY), 69-61, in a non-league test.

The Mounties now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jay for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 18. Suffern will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 65-58 non-league loss to Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY). The Patriots record now stands at 1-3.
