New York High School Volleyball - North Rockland over Clarkstown North

(September 24, 2008: New City, NY 10956) In Wednesday's league contest, the North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders face the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Class AA - League B contest, on Thursday, September 25. North Rockland will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Gryphons go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Ursuline (New Rochelle, NY).

With the loss, Clarkstown North moves to 3-3 on the year. The Rams host Suffern (Suffern, NY) to face the Mounties in a Section 1 Class AA - League B contest on Friday, September 26. The Mounties go into the contest with a record of 9-0. Suffern won 3-1 in their recent league contest against Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY)
