New York High School Football - Pelham Memorial can't get by Irvington

(October 11, 2008: Pelham, NY 10803) The Irvington Bulldogs held off the host Pelham Memorial Pelicans football team by a count of 34-29 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Irvington upgrades its record to 1-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Nanuet (Nanuet, NY) to confront the Golden Knights in a Section 1 B-1 outing on Saturday, October 18. The Golden Knights go into the outing with a record of 4-2. Nanuet won 36-15 in their recent league outing against Ardsley (Ardsley, NY)

With the loss, Pelham Memorial moves to 0-6 on the season. The Pelicans travel to Byram Hills (Armonk, NY) to confront the Bobcats in a Section 1 B-1 outing on Saturday, October 18. The Bobcats go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Byram Hills lost 21-7 in their recent league outing against Rye (Rye, NY)
