New York High School Basketball - Beacon crushes Poughkeepsie

(February 6, 2008: Beacon, NY 12508) Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY), 57-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Beacon upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Peekskill (Peekskill, NY) to encounter the Red Devils in a Section 1 II - North bout on Friday, February 8. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Peekskill lost 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY)
