New York High School Basketball - Woodlands prevails Masters

(January 10, 2008: Dobbs Ferry, NY 10522) The Woodlands Falcons basketball squad scored 45 points and limited the host Masters Panthers to 33 in the Falcons non-league victory on Thursday.

The Falcons (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 1 III - B challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Edgemont was toppled by Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 42-31, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Rye Country Day (Rye, NY). The Wildcats come into the Fairchester challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Rye Country Day was toppled by Holy Child (Rye, NY), 30-19, in a non-league challenge.
