New York High School Basketball - Panas edges Brewster

(December 14, 2007: Brewster, NY 10509) The Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) basketball nipped the host Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY), 55-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Panthers (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Lakeland got by Rye (Rye, NY), 72-60, in a non-league test.

The Bears now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rye for a non-league test on Saturday, December 15. Brewster will clash with a Garnets squad coming off a 72-60 non-league loss to Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Garnets record now stands at 1-2.
