New York High School Basketball - Panas routs Lakeland

(December 15, 2007: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) In Saturday's non-league outing, the Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY), by a count of 73-48.

The Panthers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Pioneers go into the Section 1 II - North outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Poughkeepsie was crushed by Peekskill (Peekskill, NY), 76-58, in a non-league outing.

The Hornets now hold a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Yorktown for a Section 1 II - Central outing on Tuesday, December 18. Lakeland will encounter a Huskers squad coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Greeley (Chappaqua, NY). The Huskers record now stands at 0-2.
