New York High School Basketball - Magnus crushes Dobbs Ferry

(January 4, 2008: Bardonia, NY 10954) The Magnus Falcons basketball squad scored 56 points and limited the visiting Dobbs Ferry Eagles to 31 in the Falcons non-league win on Friday.

The Falcons (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY). The Yellow Jackets go into the Section 1 III - C bout with a 5-5 record. In their last bout, Hastings was crushed by Irvington (Irvington, NY), 60-34, in a league bout.

The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 7-1 record. In their last bout, Blind Brook overwhelmed Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY), 47-11, in a league bout.
