(October 14, 2008: West Nyack, NY 10994) The Clarkstown South Vikings (West Nyack, NY) volleyball overcame the visiting Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Clarkstown South upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Vikings travel to Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Wednesday, October 15. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 1-12. Spring Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Harrison (Harrison, NY)

The Gryphons now own a 4-12 record. They play next when they host Clarkstown North for a Section 1 Class AA - League B outing on Thursday, October 16. Ramapo will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Suffern (Suffern, NY). The Rams record now stands at 5-7.
