New York High School Basketball - Mt. Vernon routs Scarsdale

(February 28, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) In Thursday's non-league outing, the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Scarsdale Raiders (Scarsdale, NY), by a margin of 78-49.

The Knights (20-3) will now prepare for their outing against Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Pioneers go into the non-league outing with a 18-3 record. In their last outing, Poughkeepsie smashed New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY), 78-75, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 17-6 record.
