New York High School Football - Yorktown victorious over Peekskill

(September 27, 2008: Peekskill, NY 10566) The Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) football overcame the host Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY), 29-6 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Huskers clash with the Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) in a Section 1 A - Central bout, on Friday, October 3. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hudson (Montrose, NY).

The Red Devils (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Tuskers enter the Section 1 A - Central bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Somers thwarted Eastchester (Eastchester, NY), 28-6, in a non-league bout.
