New York High School Basketball - Blind Brook prevails Valhalla

(January 10, 2008: Rye Brook, NY 10573) Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY), 47-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Blind Brook upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Trojans travel to Carmel (Carmel, NY) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, January 11. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-8. Carmel lost 65-52 in their recent league bout against Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY)

Next up, the Vikings play the Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 11. Valhalla will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 50-37 league win over Pawling (Pawling, NY).
