New York High School Basketball - Nanuet tipped by North Salem

(December 20, 2007: North Salem, NY 10560) The North Salem Tigers basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights to 81 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Rockland for a non-league contest on Friday, December 21. North Salem will confront a Raiders team coming off a 55-51 non-league loss to Gorton (Yonkers, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 1-5.

The Golden Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Pirates enter the Section 1 III - C contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Pearl River nudged Clarkstown North (New City, NY), 58-46, in a non-league contest.
