GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Nanuet edged by Pearl River

(September 17, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) The Pearl River Pirates held off the host Nanuet Golden Knights volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Pirates now have a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Magnus for a Section 1 Class B - League C test on Friday, September 19. Pearl River will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-5.

The Golden Knights (0-5) will now prepare for their test against Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY). The Horsemen enter the Section 1 Class B - League C test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Sleepy Hollow held off Irvington (Irvington, NY), 3-1, in a league test.
