New York High School Soccer - Schechter knocks off Tuckahoe

(October 16, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) Schechter Lions (Hartsdale, NY) supporters were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Tuckahoe Tigers (Eastchester, NY), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions battle the Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 31. Schechter will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Vikings go into the challenge with a 7-12 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY).

The Tigers now possess a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Dobbs Ferry for a Conference 4 South League challenge on Monday, October 20. Tuckahoe will battle a Eagles team coming off a 5-0 league win over Keio (Purchase, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 9-3.
