New York High School Football - Beacon topples Yonkers

(October 25, 2008: Beacon, NY 12508) The Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY) football defeated the visiting Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY), 24-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, October 30. Beacon will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Dutchmen enter the bout with a 1-7 record after their 28-20 non-league loss to Peekskill (Peekskill, NY).

The Bulldogs (0-7) will now prepare for their bout against Sacred Heart (Yonkers, NY). The Irish enter the non-league bout with a 5-1 record.
