(September 7, 2008: Hopewell Junction, NY 12533) In Sunday's non-league match, the host Jay Patriots football squad scored a good 26-12 victory over the Gorton Wolves.

In their next game, the Patriots clash with the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. Jay will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Gryphons enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 31-19 league win over North Rockland (Thiells, NY).

The Wolves (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Roosevelt (Yonkers, NY). The Indians enter the Section 1 AA - South match with a 0-1 record. In their last match, Roosevelt dropped by White Plains (White Plains, NY), 32-26, in a league match.
