The Knights now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Paterson Catholic for a non-league battle on Sunday, January 13. Mt. Vernon will battle a Cougars team coming off a 92-42 league win over Pompton Lakes (Pompton Lakes, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 8-1.

The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their battle against Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY). The Raiders come into the Section 1 I - A battle with a 11-0 record. In their last battle, Scarsdale prevailed over Mamaroneck (Mamaroneck, NY), 79-78, in a league battle.
