(January 11, 2008: Upper Nyack, NY 10960) The Tappan Zee Dutchmen basketball team (Orangeburg, NY), was nudged 60-54 in Friday's league battle with the host Nyack Indians (Upper Nyack, NY)

The Indians now sport a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Port Chester for a Section 1 II - South battle on Tuesday, January 15. Nyack will meet a Rams team coming off a 79-47 non-league win over Greeley (Chappaqua, NY). The Rams record now stands at 8-5.

The Dutchmen (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Port Chester (Port Chester, NY). The Rams come into the Section 1 II - South battle with a 9-5 record. In their last battle, Port Chester edged Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY), 72-52, in a league battle.
