(January 15, 2008: New Rochelle, NY 10804) Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY) and the host Ursuline Koalas (New Rochelle, NY), saw Mt. Vernon's basketball squad knock off Ursuline by a score of 57-48.

With the victory, Mt. Vernon improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Knights host Scarsdale (Scarsdale, NY) to battle the Raiders in a Section 1 I - A challenge on Thursday, January 17. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Scarsdale won 46-35 in their recent league challenge against New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY)

Next up, the Koalas battle the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) in a Section 1 I - A challenge, on Thursday, January 17. Ursuline will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record.
