New York High School Basketball - Woodlands falls to Eastchester

(February 1, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) The Eastchester Eagles basketball team scored 82 points and held the visiting Woodlands Falcons to 67 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ardsley for a Section 1 III - B contest on Tuesday, February 5. Eastchester will confront a Panthers team coming off a 48-37 non-league loss to Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 9-9.

The Falcons (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 1 III - B contest with a 5-12 record. In their last contest, Edgemont was defeated by Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY), 58-39, in a league contest.
