New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff trounces Putnam Valley

(December 21, 2007: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), 68-30 in Friday's league test.

The Bears (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Our Lady of Lourdes walloped White Plains (White Plains, NY), 40-32, in a non-league test.

The Tigers now own a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kennedy Catholic for a Section 1 III - A test on Friday, January 4.
