New York High School Basketball - Magnus trounces Sleepy Hollow

(January 16, 2008: Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591) The Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) basketball crushed the host Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (Sleepy Hollow, NY), 64-40 in Wednesday's league test.

The Falcons (10-1) will now prepare for their test against Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 10-4 record. In their last test, Blind Brook walloped Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY), 45-19, in a league test.

The Horsemen now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Pearl River for a Section 1 III - C test on Friday, January 25. Sleepy Hollow will clash with a Pirates squad coming off a 69-64 league loss to Irvington (Irvington, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 6-5.
