New York High School Basketball - Eastchester winner over Salesian

(December 1, 2007: New Rochelle, NY 10801) The Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY) basketball knocked off the host Salesian Eagles (New Rochelle, NY), 61-42 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Eagles now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monsignor Scanlan for a Catholic B test on Wednesday, December 5. Salesian will clash with a Crusaders squad coming off a 70-51 non-league loss to Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons (Schenectady, NY). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-2.
