(December 9, 2007: Yorktown Heights, NY 10598) Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) backers were pleased Sunday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the host Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY), 64-51 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Tappan Zee upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Dutchmen host Ossining (Ossining, NY) to play the in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 12. The come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Ossining lost 60-53 in their recent league bout against Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY)

Next up, the Huskers play the Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 14. Yorktown will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Quakers come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 81-32 league win over Somers (Lincolndale, NY).
