(December 18, 2007: Chappaqua, NY 10514) The Brewster Bears basketball squad (Brewster, NY), was edged 48-46 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY)

The Quakers now hold a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Pearl River for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 28. Greeley will play a Pirates squad coming off a 58-53 non-league win over North Rockland (Thiells, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 4-1.

Next up, the Bears play the Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) in a Section 1 II - Central challenge, on Thursday, December 20. Brewster will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Huskers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 52-49 league win over Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY).
