(December 1, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10703) The Sacred Heart Irish basketball team (Yonkers, NY), was overwhelmed 72-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY)

The Wolves now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Scarsdale for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 4. Gorton will meet a Raiders team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 2-0.

The Irish (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Schechter (Hartsdale, NY). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Schechter trounced Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 49-42, in a non-league contest.
