New York High School Basketball - Blind Brook edges Valhalla

(February 1, 2008: Rye Brook, NY 10573) The Blind Brook Trojans (Rye Brook, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY), 47-43 in Friday's league test.

The Trojans (12-5) will now prepare for their test against Pawling (Pawling, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record.

The Vikings now own a 9-9 record. They take the field next when they host Pelham Memorial for a non-league test on Monday, February 4. Valhalla will clash with a Pelicans squad coming off a 52-40 league loss to Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 10-8.
