New York High School Volleyball - Hudson over Poughkeepsie

(September 19, 2008: Montrose, NY 10548) The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Hudson Sailors (Montrose, NY) and the visiting Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY), saw Hudson's volleyball squad beat Poughkeepsie by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Hudson upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Sailors travel to Peekskill (Peekskill, NY) to play the Red Devils in a Section 1 Class A - League A bout on Monday, September 22. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-3.

The Pioneers now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Beacon for a Section 1 Class A - League A bout on Monday, September 22. Poughkeepsie will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-3.
