(December 14, 2007: Hartsdale, NY 10530) Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Woodlands Falcons (Hartsdale, NY) and the visiting Good Counsel Academy Cougars (White Plains, NY), saw Woodlands's basketball team gain a win over Good Counsel Academy by a score of 64-50.

Coming up next, the Falcons meet the Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) in a Section 1 III - B battle, on Thursday, December 20. Woodlands will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Garnets come into the battle with a 3-6 record after their 48-42 non-league loss to Jay (Cross River, NY).

The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel (New Rochelle, NY). The Cardinals come into the Catholic battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel beat Cathedral (New York, NY), 59-38, in a non-league battle.
