(September 19, 2008: Rye, NY 10580) The Pelham Memorial Pelicans football team (Pelham, NY), was ripped 42-10 in Friday's league challenge with the host Rye Garnets (Rye, NY)

The Garnets (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrison (Harrison, NY). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Harrison trounced Fox Lane (Bedford, NY), 35-13, in a league challenge.

The Pelicans now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Pleasantville for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 27. Pelham Memorial will meet a Panthers team coming off a 27-7 league win over Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-1.
