New York High School Volleyball - Panas over Putnam Valley

(October 10, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) In Friday's non-league contest, the Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Panthers battle the Mahopac Indians (Mahopac, NY) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 11. Panas will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Indians go into the contest with a 11-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY).

With the loss, Putnam Valley moves to 5-6 on the year. The Tigers host Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY) to battle the Bears in a Section 1 Class B - League A contest on Wednesday, October 15. The Bears go into the contest with a record of 4-7. Briarcliff won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY)
