GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Tappan Zee can't hold off Nanuet

(September 27, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Nanuet Golden Knights volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Tappan Zee Dutchmen.

The Golden Knights (2-7) will now prepare for their battle against Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY). The Yellow Jackets come into the Section 1 Class B - League C battle with a 0-8 record. In their last battle, Hastings was edged by Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Dutchmen clash with the Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League C battle, on Thursday, October 2. Tappan Zee will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 6-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY).
