(September 13, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY) and the host Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY), observed Pleasantville's football squad thwart Edgemont by a count of 14-0.

The Panthers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Kennedy Catholic for a Section 1 B-2 match on Friday, September 19. Pleasantville will clash with a Gaels squad coming off a 49-0 league win over Dover (Dover Plains, NY). The Gaels record now stands at 1-1.
