New York High School Basketball - Leake-Watts routs Children's Village

(January 30, 2008: Yonkers, NY 10705) In Wednesday's league outing, the Leake-Watts Lions (Yonkers, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Children's Village (Dobbs Ferry, NY), by a margin of 80-52.

The Lions (9-5) will now prepare for their outing against Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY). The Tigers go into the non-league outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Croton-Harmon smashed Byram Hills (Armonk, NY), 64-59, in a league outing.

The now own a 2-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tuckahoe for a Section 1 IV - A outing on Friday, February 1. Children's Village will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 61-59 league win over Dobbs Ferry (Dobbs Ferry, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 9-8.
