New York High School Basketball - Pelham Memorial falls to Eastchester

(January 28, 2008: Pelham, NY 10803) The Eastchester Eagles basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Pelham Memorial Pelicans to 40 in the Eagles league triumph on Monday.

The Eagles now sport a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rye for a Section 1 III - B contest on Wednesday, January 30. Eastchester will confront a Garnets team coming off a 73-50 league win over Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Garnets record now stands at 8-6.

The Pelicans (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 1 III - B contest with a 9-6 record. In their last contest, Ardsley ran past Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY), 84-63, in a league contest.
