New York High School Basketball - Spring Valley topples Tappan Zee

(February 10, 2008: Spring Valley, NY 10977) In Sunday's league outing, the Spring Valley Tigers (Spring Valley, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY), by a margin of 81-61.

The Tigers (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against Eastchester (Eastchester, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league outing with a 16-4 record. In their last outing, Eastchester gained a win over Ardsley (Ardsley, NY), 53-43, in a league outing.

The Dutchmen now own a 12-8 record. They take the field next when they host Byram Hills for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 14. Tappan Zee will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Pearl River (Pearl River, NY). The Bobcats record now stands at 12-8.
