GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - Suffern over North Rockland

(October 16, 2008: Suffern, NY 10901) Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Mounties clash with the Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY) in a Section 1 Class AA - League B match, on Monday, October 20. Suffern will attempt to advance on its 15-1 season record. The Gryphons come into the match with a 4-13 record after their 3-1 league loss to Clarkstown North (New City, NY).

With the loss, North Rockland drops to 14-3 on the campaign. The Raiders host Ketcham (Wappingers Falls, NY) to clash with the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, October 17. The Indians come into the match with a record of 10-4. Ketcham lost 3-2 in their recent non-league match against Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY)
