(October 2, 2008: Bedford, NY 10506) The Fox Lane Foxes (Bedford, NY) volleyball were winner over the visiting Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY), 3-0 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Fox Lane betters its record to 8-2 on the year. The Foxes host Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY) to face the Huskers in a Section 1 Class A - League B outing on Monday, October 6. The Huskers go into the outing with a record of 6-4. Yorktown won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Somers (Lincolndale, NY)

The Tuskers now sport a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a Section 1 Class A - League B outing on Friday, October 3. Somers will face a Huskers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Huskers record now stands at 5-4.
