New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff thwarts Gorton

(November 29, 2007: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY) basketball felled the visiting Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY), 71-61 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Pelicans go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Pelham Memorial defeated Sacred Heart (Yonkers, NY), 44-28, in a non-league test.
