(September 15, 2007: Putnam Valley, NY 10579) The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY) and the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY), observed Putnam Valley's football squad defeat Nanuet by a count of 12-0.

The Tigers now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Edgemont for a Section 1 B-2 contest on Thursday, September 20. Putnam Valley will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 28-14 league win over Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 1-1.

Coming up next, the Golden Knights encounter the Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) in a Section 1 B-2 contest, on Thursday, September 20. Nanuet will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
