New York High School Volleyball - Croton-Harmon tips Putnam Valley

(September 26, 2008: Putnam Valley, NY 10579) The Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY) volleyball tipped the host Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), 3-2 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Croton-Harmon upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to North Salem (North Salem, NY) to play the Tigers in a non-league outing on Thursday, October 2. The Tigers go into the outing with a record of 7-4. North Salem won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Hamilton (Elmsford, NY)

The Tigers now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasantville for a Section 1 Class B - League A outing on Friday, October 3. Putnam Valley will play a Panthers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Valhalla (Valhalla, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-5.
