New York High School Basketball - Carmel falls to Gorton

(December 10, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10703) The Gorton Wolves basketball team scored 69 points and held the visiting Carmel Rams to 56 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Monday.

The Wolves now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host White Plains for a non-league contest on Monday, December 17. Gorton will confront a Tigers team coming off a 74-65 non-league win over Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-0.

The Rams (0-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln (Yonkers, NY). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Lincoln lost by White Plains (White Plains, NY), 75-60, in a non-league contest.
