New York High School Volleyball - Pleasantville overwhelmed by Croton-Harmon

(October 17, 2008: Croton on Hudson, NY 10520) In Friday's league battle, the host Croton-Harmon Tigers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Pleasantville Panthers.

The Tigers (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 1 Class B - League A battle with a 6-8 record. In their last battle, Putnam Valley went down by Irvington (Irvington, NY), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers encounter the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) in a non-league battle, on Monday, October 20. Pleasantville will attempt to move on its 4-10 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a 0-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY).
