New York High School Basketball - Lincoln ripped by Mt. Vernon

(February 15, 2008: Mt. Vernon, NY 10552) In Friday's non-league match, the host Mt. Vernon Knights basketball team scored a decisive 96-53 triumph over the Lincoln Lancers.

In their next game, the Knights confront the Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, February 20. Mt. Vernon will attempt to better on its 18-3 season record. The Mounties enter the match with a 13-8 record after their 50-38 non-league win over Gorton (Yonkers, NY).

With the defeat, Lincoln moves to 10-12 on the year.
