(January 31, 2008: Croton on Hudson, NY 10520) The Leake-Watts Lions basketball team (Yonkers, NY), dropped 67-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Croton-Harmon Tigers (Croton on Hudson, NY)

The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their outing against Briarcliff (Briarcliff Manor, NY). The Bears go into the Section 1 III - A outing with a 14-3 record. In their last outing, Briarcliff gained a win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY), 62-49, in a league outing.

The Lions now hold a 9-6 record. They take the field next when they host Hamilton for a Section 1 IV - A outing on Monday, February 4. Leake-Watts will encounter a Raiders squad coming off a 48-45 league win over Schechter (Hartsdale, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 7-9.
